The Canada Southern Railway Station is a beautifully restored historic railway station located in the heart of downtown St. Thomas. Our grand halls boast 16-foot ceilings, opulent faux-style gas lamps, massive archways, and modern bar amenities. With three different halls to choose from, CASO Station is a great venue for events of all types, including weddings, corporate meetings, birthday parties, and fundraising events—and for engagement and wedding photos.
The North America Railway Hall of Fame is a not-for-profit charitable organization housed in the recently restored Canada Southern Railway Station in St. Thomas, Ontario. Once known as the Railway Capital of Canada, St. Thomas is rich with historical significance for both the locals as well as Canada and North America as a whole. The North America Railway Hall of Fame was founded in 1996 to maintain, preserve and honor this railway history. Our goal is to educate the public about the impact of railway transportation on North America as a whole, as well as on Canada specifically, and on St. Thomas in particular. The Hall of Fame exhibit, which is located on the 2nd floor of the station, was officially opened in September 2013.
